I have a challenge for all my third graders. If anyone can get 75 Reading Counts points by October 7th, I will treat them to a pizza party the following day. By getting to 75 points by this day, students are on the path to earning the Reading Counts Spend-the-Night party at the end of the school year.
On the Weekly Reader page to my website, you can see which dates are booked are which are still available to be one of our mystery readers. Once you pick a date that is still available, just send me an email, and I will sign you up.
Friday is our first non-uniform day. Please send in at least 25 cents to come out of uniform on this day. You may send in more if you would like. All proceeds for this non-uniform day go to The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
Mr. Hooper asked all teachers to please remind parents to make sure children are wearing tennis shoes on P.E. days. This is for your child's safety.
